Eglo Records co-founder Alex Nut steps out on his first official solo outing, fusing elements of Spiritual Jazz, House and Dub Techno. andtheitstarted is the first single lifted from the forthcoming 'Present Under Construction' EP, which features the talents of Detroit legend Patrice Scott, Saxophonist James Mollison (Ezra Collective / Nala Sinephro) and keys form Sam Crowe (Cleo Sol / Liane La Havas).
Since starting out alongside Floating Points, Steven Julien, Fatima and co, the renowned DJ, Broadcaster, curator has become a standard bearer for the UK's Soulful Underground music scene. Pushing Jazz, Soul, House and Broken Beat forwards and developing talent that has gone on to make a major impact.
